Denim is made using a twill weave or diagonal ribbing. Most jeans are the same but some have slight variations in polyester to cotton proportions affecting color durability and absorbency. Polyester improves color durability while cotton improves absorbency and dryness.

Care Instructions

  • The most gentle option is to hand wash and allow the item to air dry.
  • If you do choose to machine wash:

-turn the item inside out to protect the embroidery.

-try to not wash the item with other clothing that might cause damage, such as zippers or buttons.

-choose a mild detergent. 

-allow the item to air dry when possible to prevent shrinking

-a gentle wash in cold water can reduce the chance of embroidery colors bleeding

  • If you need to iron:

-avoid steam

-do not place the iron directly onto the embroidered area.

-use a pressing cloth over the embroidery or iron on the reverse side.
