Felt is a matted fabric. It consists of textile fibers condensed and pressed together. 

Materials

  • Felt was traditionally made with wool, but is not made with syntethic fibers rather than animal fibers.

  • Hand-washing is preferred.
  • Washing machines should be set on the delicate cycle with a lowered final spin speed using cool or cold water.
  • A mesh bag is perfect to prevent snags inside the washing machine.

  • regular thread can be used to sew felt
